Big mistake, paint job messed up

So I park my bike at work yesterday right beside my work truck where my dad was spray painting parts all day.

I realized this too late, but then thought that the bike was far enough from the painting that it wouldn't be an issue. Bad decision!

I now have tiny little white specks of paint all over my left side farings. It's not noticeable from a distance but when you look close up you can tell. My beautiful red paint job is F***ed up!!!!

I drove the bike to a self-wash station and pressure washed the crap out of it, it didn't do much

Does anyone know of a product I could use to remove the paint specks but not damage my clear coat? Rubbing alcohol? Goo gone? Paint thinner lol

Thank you

A good scrubbing of it should take it off!

I would wet sand with a super high grit the paint is gone then buff and re clear it.
But wouldn't recommend it unless you you know what your doing.

Only one safe way to get it off, Clay bar! Then re-wax. Do not wet sand it or scrub with a scrub brush.

As mentioned above, clay bar will work great and after waxing, you will have not idea this happened.

Canadian Tire and Partsource sell it in the car detailing supplies section. I've had good results with the Mothers system.

+2 to clay bar, you can also go to Tom from Zaino Brothers (also a fantastic polish to use) he sells claybars as well, which is where I get all my detailing products from.

Easy Off oven cleaner works too. Girl I was dating years ago had her car vandalized - thought we were in for a full paint job. Called around, one body shop guy told me to spray the painted area with Easy off, let it sit for 20-30 minutes, then have at it with a microfibre cloth and warm soapy water. Worked like a charm. Since the factory paint is a heat set enamel, Easy Off won't touch it.

If it will work the same on bike parts, dunno. Maybe try a small area first.

I pulled a ton of overspray off with a power buffer (canadian tire sale $49) and Meguiar's glaze / polish. Also removes grime and swirls. Excellent for black bikes. Detail your friends cars and bikes when your done for extra cash!
