Unless you've been charged with a heavy ticket (like careless) 99% of the time in Toronto if you go in yourself you can get it reduced to no points and a lower fine by just attending. These companies rip people off, no company can guarente to get the ticket dropped. These agents just play the disclousure game, the adjournment game and hope like hell the officer is in another court or doesn't show.

Keep spreading your turboadvice.. While it's true for most companies, it's well known around the community that Redline actually does everything in their power to get your ticket thrown out. That's the best possible course of action in 99.9% of the cases. They are very good at it and have a high success rate.

It doesn't matter whether you get hit for 1 over, 15 over or 30 over.. It's all treated as a "minor conviction" by the insurance industry. Hell, most companies will consider anything up to and including 44km/h over as a "minor" and everything above as a "major". So, the only difference is the fine amount.

Points don't matter to most of us. Unless you rack up 9 in a 2 year period, there's no risk of license suspension. Insurance companies don't look at your demerits. So, the only people possibly affected by demerits are either the real unlucky and/or undisciplined drivers and those whose job depends on a clean abstract.

In short: Go with Redline
