Best time to buy gear?

When is the best time like when they have big discount during the year? I want to get a jacket so far I have seen some at the sheppard/brimley cycle shop as cheap as $190. Buy it now or winter for the cheapest?
 
End of season. A lot of shops have already had their big sales already, though. However, check out the deals at www.sportbiketrackgear.com They always have some good stuff on clearance. And if you email them about sizing and such, they'll get back to you quickly. They're really great there.
 
not the thread jack but im also looking to buy a 1 piece suit, when is the best time to look for that?
 
Go to the Motorcycle Supershow at the International Centre, in January.
They have lots of variety on the Friday, but blowout deals on the Sunday.
Most of the local dealerships will be there.
