Best Time of Year for BC / Alberta

I am thinking of a trip out west this year, and am wondering what weather would be like, particularly in June or July. I would probably fly to Vancouver and rent for 1-2 weeks, doing the BC interior and over to Calgary and back.

Any thoughts?

That's the best time of year. We rode through Banff and Jasper on the way to Vancouver last year at the end of July. It does get cold in the Rockies at elevation so dress accordingly. The west coast and BC drylands will be nice and hot.

Mid June to late September.
You can't really go wrong.

If you can make it the calgary stampede starts on july 5 and goes until the 14th,it's a really good time.
