thought maybe an idea bank for this would b helpful.

i found a gem today.
There is a huge lot.....like huge behind Maclean House Estate (behind Sunnybrook Hospital)
Bayview Ave just south of Lawrence Ave on East side.

Practiced SLAMMING my ABS brakes from 60 kmh this am.

Empty, and no one to bother....or snicker at you.

also at the hospital there is a very steep and quiet paved road great for practicing downhill steep cornering and mastering clutch throttle mgmt for uphill starts.

anyway ,hope this helps someone

just bought:

R&G Case cover set CBF600SA 2011 - KEC0026BK

R&G Bar Ends - BE0007BK - on sale

R&G Fork Sliders - FP0082BK

hey tricky,

i don't know if your joking about me joking but im dead serious'

i was actually a little afraid of what to expect with ABS on my brakes, but now i know i can apply full front brake at 60 km h and stop on a f#$%ing dime in a dead straight line.
Amazing feeling of COMPLETE control except for almost being launched over the handlebars...but now i can anticipate that.
Honestly its IMPOSSIBLE to lock the front brakes'
personally i wouldnt drive a bike on the street without ABS for anything.

I love my honda cbf600sa w ABS and dont care other riders yawn at me lol

i plan to practice EVERY crisis situation i can in a controlled situation so at least i have a (vague) idea of what to expect in real life.
i know its different than real life but is the best way I (repeat I) learn stuff.

Im lucky enough to have retired before 45.. if i **** up my bike ..ill just buy a new one.

i want to be alive to enjoy my retirement

Well I suppose there's no arguing with that logic. Just make sure you don't **** yourself up if you **** your bike up!

Do you mean you need practice picking up the bike when it's lying on the ground? I would hate to see you purposely dump a bike.. I would shed a tear. When I took a bit of a tumble (lowside at about 40), I guess it was adrenaline that jacked me up. It all felt surreal. All I could think was "get the bike up, get it out of the road." Doesn't require much practice at all :D

If you want to go for a ride or if I could ever offer advice... just shoot me a PM and we'll set it up
