Hey guys finally about time to replace some rubber, and was wondering what everyone thinks and how their experiences have gone. im looking into track days sometime soon so im wondering if i should look into aggressive road tire but still very capable to be track friendly for a beginner track rider. thanks for the help and input.
 
I like the Dunlop Q2 mind you my track experiance is 0 with them...The reviews rate them high for both track & street.
 
Dunlop Q2 is the best bang for the buck tire and a top performer in the class you are looking at.
 
If you are new to racing, you don't need the "best tire." any dual compound sport tire should do fine ;)
 
I like the michelin pilot power 2ct's, great for track or street, and an awesome tire in the wet, but thats IMO, I have a feeling there may be differing ones out there.......somewhere lol :p

Bridgestone Bt16's .. one of the best street/track tires.

But youll find everyone has a different view on which tire is the best ..

Q2's I love mine, 6 trackday on them so far and wearing well never an issue with grip.
