Where is the best place close to toronto to shop for dirt helmets? Just looking for something polycarbonate, but have a bit of an odd shaped head thats long and narrow, for street helmets i can pretty much only wear scorpion and arai. Oh and if anyone says royal i'll scream, i hate that store.....wait for it

Royal? Maybe GP bikes. I've never been there so I couldn't say for sure.

Just a dirt lid, maybe Canadian Tire.

I get better deals and service at GP bikes,Royal would be your next best option. There is also Snow City on Kennedy but I dont know what kind of stock they would have.

Snow city had about a dozen dirt helmets and couldn't find a price tag on any of them, didn't feel like dealing with that. I've been to GP bikes once before but didn't realize they had a good dirt selection, i might have a good excuse to be out that way on friday anyway. Good call.

Royal irritates me, their in store merchandise feels very marketed at people who know nothing and they can make a quick buck off, and i was a little choked when they stopped carrying water wetter because "they dont go through enough of it". Heaven forbid you keep something in stock, even if its just a few bottles to look after people headed to the track. That sorta stuff goes a long way with me.

At GPgo upstairs for dirt section,I think they have a sale right now on helmets.

I don't get that feeling at royal... The guys usually know what they are talking about. But, I also research lots before I go in and I don't get talked in to what I don't want.

I spent an hour and a half in there, pulling apart different chest protectors and neck braces to get something to fit... Never had an issue with royal.

Ever try to buy parts? They need some kind of line or number system like their other stores,I have been first in line at the wrong part of the counter there several times lol and other people get served before me.Whitby store is the worst,I dont even bother with parts there anymore.

Ya buying parts there can be painful.

Ive asked for a specific part and the parts guy insisted i needed another one on more than one occasion.

I guess I've been lucky there... Never had an issue, other than one time asking for something obscure for my snowmobile... But the other parts guy knew what I wanted, but they didn't have it... A dealer only thing.

Same, always been good and generally have what I need. I actually prefer the Whitby location because the store is so much better layed out than Guelph.
