Best Place to get new rubber.

Just wondering where the best place is to get new rubber from. Other than the states.

Haven't actually looked into any prices yet but looking for ideas as and when the time comes.

Petes superbike seems to be the best place in terms of price.

However many local vendors will price match petes prices. I know bluestreak racing will match sometimes

Just about every dealer has some sort of special on tires but sometimes limited to certain brands and models. What are you riding and what kind of tires are you looking for?

Lol I read the thread title and immediately though shoppers drug mart... Wrong kinda rubber.

+1 for Pete's.

I've got a GSX650F

I've previously had Conti Road Attacks and Michelin Pilot Road II's on an R6 and RF600R back in the UK.

I prefer harder centre compound tires. Also makes much more sense when riding over here.

I don't really have a brand preference so open to suggestions of what people use.

i bought mine locally... the hassle of ordering tires and taking them somewhere to have them installed/balanced on the bike wasn't worth the $70 savings to me...

ordered them, dropped my bike off and got a phone call 2 days later saying i could pick it up...

who did you go to locally? what tires did you put on?

I have bought 6 sets at BlueStreak Racing.
Shipping or install on rims is free, and his prices match Petes.

Also have gotten a few sets at Platinum, and again, he matches prices and install included.

I have gotten a couple sets from Competition Cycle as well, and his prices were as good as anyone elses, and immediate install, with entertaining smalltalk while I waited!

If it hasn't already been said theres a guy on kijiji called flying squirrel. He has a shop in scarborough. I got a rear michilin 2ct for 180 taxes in when everyone else wanted 230+.

i bought a set of avon gripsters from TSR in georgetown for just over 200 bucks.

Denny is a great guy to deal with.

That's a pretty shady part of Scarborough!!

Glen at Flying Squirrel is great. His location is super wacky though. I got a ticket for parking in the "bus zone" out front of his place, but I was not in the marked "bus zone" area? lol. Took it to court, they threw it out.

That is odd. I usually just ride inside and park right outside the door to his shop :)

Dundas and Carlaw is considered part of scarborough now? This I did not know...

I like dealing with Tony @ Bluestreak for tires. Fast shipping and great prices.
