Just wanted to set up a thread for online motorcycle shops that you recommend. Please only recommend those which you have used.

Also, please comment on shipping prices and times.

Here are some I have used...

flying squirrel. Great fast shipping
ebay- I usually only purchase items in Canada to save on the duty tax. I am quite sure that if items are shipped USPS then the duty is waived to compete with FedEx and UPS.

Let's see what kind of feedback this gets

cheers

Of the hundreds listed I have been very happy with motorcycle superstore in the USA. Massive selection, prices as low as any I've seen and lots of sales. Shipping to Canada is transparent and taxes duties paid in advance so there are no surprises when the package arrives. Shipping takes 3-4 days unless an item is on back order ( and they tell you that upfront too)

IMHO forget eBay. There used to be lots of good deals but now eBay prices are at parity with most on line stores (at least for new items). And you can get really gouged with duties/ shipping which eats up any apparent savings. It's totally buyer beware when dealing with used items or private sales. Not worth the hassle ( to me) ymmv.

Op - your reasoningescapes me re: buying in Canada. You surely will pay tax unless it is a private sale, aka underground economy. No reputable retailer is going to help you dodge tax - on either side of the border.

My experience when buying from the USA nd using USPS is that often, the package arrives with no taxes or duties due. And I have saved $$ on some pretty high ticket items. But this seems to be a random thing as I have also been dinged with extra charges about half the time.

I really prefer USPS shipping when I can get it. Online retailers think otherwise and ship fed-ex or ups as a rule.

I like Revzilla....fast service and no question returns. Decent prices and a good incentive to keep buying from them
My go to always.

I second that, Revzilla has a huge inventory and prices are very competitive.

USPS is their shipping method and they ship quite fast.

F Revzilla. 25$ish bucks to ship me a visor for a helmet? I don't think so.

Canada's Motorcycle. Fast shipment, usually same day or 1 day and prices are decent. Ship from Quebec. Free shipping for orders over $99 as well.

I have to give a shout out to PJ and Paige from PJ's Parts. www.pjsparts.com. Motorcycle couple who has a small store with incredible prices and treats Canadians really well. Likely the cheapest prices you will find on Rizoma and Brembo bits as well as Fren Tubo lines and more. Ships usps and I have never been dinged with duty.

I found partzilla to be good, they had all the oe parts i wanted and also a good selection on aftermarket parts.

Used Canada's motorcycle for one order, very quick had it in 2 days :O
Also used bikeleathers.ca (not for the 50% deal) quick shipping from London Ontario, but limited inventory.

Sportbiketrackgear.com

These guys are out of Detroit. Awesome dudes and great deals on their site. I usually just go to their store directly. Perks of a border town.
