Best Alternative to Iphone 4?

So this might be another thread for the same android thread....

Iphone4 is around $400 used....any good alternatives to a iphone these days?
 
Depends on how you use your device and what sort of eco system its working with. I like Apples eco system with iTunes, airplay and all that. There are many great Android phones out there, plenty to chose from. Really, weigh out what she wants from a phone and buy the one that does it best for those needs. I may be alone on this but I think the windows phones are pretty snazzy. Their system environment isn't up to par with Apple yet, but there's potential there.

I dunno....how big are you on apps? :D

I hate the look of the Windows UI, just looks like they did not design for the screen they have. Thats just me though.

I would never buy a phone that has potential for the future. Cell phones are not life long comittments. If/when the Windows smart phones catch up or get some features that I think are worth switching to, then I will, but not because of what they could do in the future.
 
One of the biggest selling points of a Iphone is their APPS...and how good they are with multimedia. They'r half decent with email too now.

Kinda like how the Iphone has the new york subway app, police scanner app etc....
 
When I got an iphone, it was all about apps, and how amazing multimedia was.
Now it's all about functionality and multimedia and integration first, then apps last.

Also the ability to jailbreak and have awesomer functionality, with that multimedia and integration throughout the many idevices and control over many things. I can't ask for better.

big ups for the samsung galaxy s2x i'm currently using, although holding out for the new nexus prime would be even better.

it does it all, with a bigger screen and amazing battery life. mine has replaced about eight devices that i used to carry around or own: p+s camera, gps, kindle, old blackberry, palm tungsten, psp, portable dvd player, touchscreen mp3 player. . .
16gb on board, slap in a 32gb microsd, and it is good to go.
 
HTC or Samsung Android phones. All of my friends have swtiched from iPhone to the Andriod. They are not going back.
 
Samsung galaxy S2. I am switching from iphone and not going back :rolleyes:
 
4S > S2 in just about every way. It's faster, better camera, better build quality, better OS ;)

If you gotta have android might as well get the best current one, the new Nexus.

Apple still has the better overall system...cleaner UI, better AppStore with selection, etc etc

I'm glad it's not difficult for me to choose a new phone.
 
I played with my buddies Smasung the other day, he was on that new LTE network or whatever and I have to say his internet on the phone is faster then mine at home...Other then that and the bigger screen, it just feels kinda cheap in the build quality compared to the Iphone...And its a little too big for me personally...
