Remember that BMW owner who had a priapism (in plain English, a long-lasting, painful, and permanent erection) and blamed it on his motorcycle and aftermarket seat? He’s a tenacious fellow, but the California state appeal court has finally shut him down.

The plaintiff has been in and out of court for years, suing both BMW North America and aftermarket seatmaker Corbin, blaming them for his condition, and accusing them of negligence and that sort of thing. This case has actually been working through the courts since 2012, and the owner has already been ruled against in court (hence the appearance in the appeals court).
The judge who heard the case was apparently fed up with the ongoing nonsense, as he not only ruled against the plaintiff, but ordered him to pay the defendant’s costs.

I has an R1200GS. A couple of months ago my wife asked if I'd like a Corbin or Sargent for Christmas :)

What's up with this thread? I'm having a hard time understanding why would this happen.

Such a stiff judge BTW, a firm resolution to the case.

I think the that filed the original lawsuit had no idea he was really pulling a boner. It would never stand up in court.

I guess he offered circumstantial evidence instead of hard facts.

He probably feels he got the short end of the stick now that he has experienced the long arm of the law. The the wheels may turn slowly but rest assured they move upward and forward. Well at least the case came to a head and reached the climax with the Judge's happy/unhappy ending.
 
Pfizer is now looking into suing BMW and Corbin for copyright infringement.

BMW commented that they were in the business of erections before Pfizer, as their name states: BMW= Big Male Woody, Corbin is still screwed.
