Anybody have something better than what all those top 10 sites are giving me? All i really wanna do is take segments out of loooooong videos and add an intro. Maybe tinker with upscaling and multi-view...

I usually use mpeg stream clip and iMovie
Avidemux (free). Dunno about upscaling and multi-view, but clipping and titles are easy. Crashes in specific circumstances but once you know its sensitive parts you can work around it.
I just use Windows Movie Maker because I don't do anything fancy. Used to have the fancy Adobe one back in the day but really all I used it for was help with ripping movies. I have a free one on my phone that will do most of the same stuff as the Windows one.
