What do guys recommend for a ball mount for 2" receiver Draw Tite Hitch fo ra Honda CRV. The top of the opening for the 2" receiver is 13 1/2 inches to the ground. Is there a specific height that is required so the ball mount is parallel to the trailer?
I want to rent an uhual motorcycle trailer to take my bike to the track. thanks

Should be 16-17 inches on draw. Your load with your measurements will be nose down heavy but probably doable. Take it easy as it will sway! I would think a Honda CRV would be a soft/mushy suspension.

While I'm no trailer expert I assume you're asking about the rise or drop of the drawbar for the U Haul trailer you intend to rent. This is the site I used to calculate my rise and it worked out OK. I'd just go to a U Haul rental place and measure a couple of trailers to see if the coupler height is standard.

As for your CRV you measured 13.5 inches for hitch height, get someone weighing 150 - 200 lbs. to sit on the edge of your trunk to simulate the tongue weight you'll probably have and remeasure this. If it drops an inch probably no big deal, if much more then you should factor this into your rise or drop calculation to keep the trailer as level as possible, in particular with a low towing capacity vehicle such as a CRV.
