Hellcat looking like a steal2025 Ford Mustang GTD Is a $300,000 Thoroughbred
Ford's six-figure Mustang features a transaxle, trick aerodynamics, and approximately 800 horsepower.
It seems that this is more closely related to the GT than any mustang. It should have little trouble beating a hellcat at any competition involving a corner (I'd hope).
The real question is how long before we see one of these going backwards into a crowd?
Was somewhat tongue in cheek. But 3x the price??? The gt500 would probably run laps around the hellcat.
Looked at the other way, it is 200K cheaper than the GT. It would be cool to see people with the balls and money pit them against each other.
Ford is heading down the path where all of their "cars" are branded mustang. I don't like that path.
A neighbour has a GT500. I worry for him. He's too old to have the necessary reaction time when you give it the beans.
$300,000 USD and still has optional wheels, exhaust, and bodywork. Seems made to soak up the contents of some very specific people's chequebooks
I liked it better when it was a photoshopped R8.
