I used this place to have the rear window replaced in one of my cages yesterday. Much less expensive than running it through insurance (deductable).

Excellent service. No payment until you're satisfied with the job - no "up front" money - very good communication via email and telephone. Pay via Visa / MC or Pay Pal. ( I chose pay pal )
Simply pick a place & time to get it done & cross the border.
I picked a garage (in case it rained) that was close to Seneca Casino.
The installer took about 45 minutes, and I spent the rest of yesterday / last night at the casino. I won a bit, and paid for most of the install :) (he would have done it in the casino parking lot, if I wanted him to).

Of course you claimed that at the border when you came back?:thumbleft:

I just got a quote online for $252 for a windshield on my car ... I'll be driving to Buffalo to have it replaced. Thanks.

I call shenanigans. You just wanted to crow about winning some wampum at Seneca.

Settled in to the new digs now?

No hidden surpirse fees either - I was amazed. (good luck at the casino).

Hardly enough to crow about - lucky to get out alive.
New digs are still grow'n on me. Feels like I have to leave and go 'home' soon.
Drop by some time.

I need my windshield replaced - this place quoted me $295 and I'd have to drive to buffalo.
Atlas auto glass in Brampton quoted me $200 + tax. Cheaper to stay here for me and guaranteed NOT to be a china brand ( told me the name, but can't remember now )
To each their own...

I just had my front windshield replaced. I paid 230 taxes in and it was done on site where my car was, and took an hour. I don't mind paying a little extra for the convenience of not having to take my car anywhere to get it done.

I'd be sleeping with one eye open if I were you. I hear the electrical contractor that wired your house was notorious for having houses catch on fire due to lousy wiring methods. :)

Why go through all that trouble when you can get it done in the GTA for under $200 for most cars.

Reason I went, and posted: I know 2 people in the glass business. One is an Apple franchise owner / "holdout". (Speedy is trying to buyout every Apple & Speedy franchise owner, but he won't sell).
Other buddy sold his Apple biz to Speedy but still works for them.
Best price they could get my rear glass (with defroster & radio antenna) was $345 + install (usually about $100 to r&r).
No one else (local) could compete with those prices, or Windshieldstogo for my rear glass.

I've been sleeping with a fire extinguisher under my pillow................how long have you guys been practicing stuffing wires inbetween floor joists to avoid drilling extra holes?
