^they showed signs of autism, but I'm not convinced. If anything, they could qualify for Aspergers, but even that's a HUGE stretch. A lot of geniuses would qualify for a very loose diagnosis of Aspergers because many geniuses get lost in their work, either don't care about/can't read social cues, and are obsessed about a certain subject. With that criterion, that would mean that a good portion of professors in Toronto are autistic :o

That's basically what happens when all your focus is channeled (although it's out of their control). It's probably one of the most fascinating topics in child development
