Hey =)

Just saying hello I'm getting my license this month and looking forward to it.

If you have any tips for purchasing a motorcycle and its accessories please let me know.

Thanks,
Charlene

The Rider training class was REALLY REALLY helpful! I would've not known how to ride if I hadn't taken the rider's training course at Humber.

And CBR250 or Ninja 250 is a good starter bike if you're into sport bikes. That's what I've learnt so far :)

P.S. Riding is amazing fun and such a great feeling!

Welcome!

Just like TheNewDude said.. definitely look into a rider training course. You'll get to try out a bunch of different bikes, and you can decide from there which type you like best

Welcome, what on earth did we do before rider training and the internet?? I must just be lucky to be alive...

learned on dirt bikes? lol

I'm really excited to start riding!!! I've been wanting to do it for years .. I'm actually enrolled in the humber class for the 21st , 23, 24 of this month! and I'm definitely looking at getting either the CBR250R but all in black if i can find it or the Kawasaki Ninja 400r =)

I'll definitely post pictures of my bike once i get it =)

The choice of bike will be easy... Will really depend on your height.
From what I have heard, it's very difficult to lower the Ninja 400 if you are short. The CBR250 is a thinner bike and can be lowered. So if you are short than the CBR250 will be the better option.

With that being said, i picked up a used Ninja 250 and now I wish i had just gone with my gutt and picked up the 400 instead. BUT, in the long run it will work out. I will get rid of the 250 next year and get a 600. Strategy strategy!

:)

I almost got the Ninja 400 (in red). It is a very nice bike! But I went with a Yamaha instead at the last minute.

Welcome to the forum... listen to what the others have already said... go take the course! Cheers

Sitting on and riding several bikes helped me make the right call for the bike I ended up getting. The course will also let you gauge your comfort level on two wheels. All the best!

Seems like there has been a wave of riders from Brampton the last few days.

Welcome Charlene!
