Are they serious?

The mainstream media follow the marching orders of the government.

And in other news canadian housing some of the world's most affordable :lmao:

Until you relocate here and realize you gotta pay insane hydro, and gas prices, and WSIB premiums, and CPP and EI for all your employees, and a provincial pension fund coming down the line too. LOL business friendly my ***.... I'm barely above water after the scumbags take their massive cut.

By business friendly they mean BIG business friendly...

I don't understand. Why would Hudak want to reduce taxes on big business by an additional 30%?

No guarantee though. Hudak's tax cuts come with no strings attached. Companies could just pocket the profits.

Liberals "corporate welfare" is only given to companies that actually stay/expand and employ people. That's a guaranteed job creator.

Ya, picking winners is so easy and works well. That's why so many people kick *** in horse racing, the stock market and the lottery. Targeted corporate welfare has worked so well. Like the Green Energy deal with Samsung. http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...tys-bigger-debacle/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ca

Here are a few early press releases on it.

Note how much of the schedule was never met. Then the liberals "renegotiated" the contract.

The powers that be seem to think that calling out someone's "logic" in a thread about politics, no less, is insulting and worthy of an infraction. Ya. Fixed it below.

I don't see what is so hard to understand. Overall the Canada business tax is fairly low and quite competitive. It has been noted before the purposeful shift from business tax to income tax for the government revenues and philosophy. Not that I agree with that.

The ON WSIB talk recently here have been about high risk outlier work. Don't extrapolate to other work. Overall, for most work, it is not much of an issue nor a significant cost. Not that it helps those outlier groups.

How is this a bad thing?

However there should be a balance between what we the residents pay in taxes, ys we need jobs and companies that create them but what does a job do if you can not afford anything.

Not sure if serious.

Yeah, it's all in how they define taxes.

They do the same thing with electricity costs. They boast that Ontario has some of the lowest electricity rates in North America -- sure, until you add up the debt recovery charge, the delivery charge, the HST, and any other nonsense on the bill.

With the Liberals having a Majority in Ontario could be an issue. Hudak's tax cuts would of been a major help as we are looking to expand and debating moving out of province completely now. Hudak's tax cut would provide me enough funding to employ another person and increase my production. We're located in Barrie and before the vote happened we were debating moving to a near Barrie town to lower rent/taxes. These lower costs will increase our porfits, you are correct. With increased profits I'll be able to provide more products for my customers and with the increase in demand this will cause me to hire more people to meet this demand.

Not all companies are evil. ;) Either way I am not looking forward to what they have planned and putting Ontario into more Debt. But this will change towards the end of the term when they need more money and probably raise taxes so they can come through on their promises after all. Since they'll just blow through money like it's water. And yes, this is your money, my money, all of our moneys.

But! Nothing like discussing politics on a Motorcycle forum to really make your day that much better!
