As a new student I inquired where to park my bike and was told I had to pay for parking just like any other car. Does anyone know where to park the bike for free:confused: thanks guys
 
You can't. They are pretty strict with parking now. You can probably try to slip in between the barriers between one of the parking lot's on the M buidling or try the parking lot by the residences. But for sure someone will snitch on you if they see you doing this.
 
You have to pay in Bramledash? Oakville is free both north and south campuses... We even got our own area to play in.
 
At my school there's a separate permit that you have to get for a motorcycle (it's $50 in comparison to like $300 for a car). What makes me mad is I have to put some awful sticker on my bike...The worst part is it's Guelph.. we have a LOT of free space lol

i went to davis campus before and you don't have alot of options and the strip plaza across the street prob aint a good idea . i had my car broken into while parked there so wherever you park it make sure it's in a spot where it can been seen as best as possible is all i can recommend .

True, usually lots of space in P49, and getting in there is easy enough. The getting out is a bit trickier though.

I used to go to the Trafalgar campus too and just park at res. parking for free, somtiems for like a toonie or something.

P49 is UOG, right between the Campus Police and the football stadium. It has a chain link fence around it and locks on the gates. It's the parking lot of last resort. ;-)

OOOh Lol I was so confused.. I looked on the campus map and everything! Haha never had the pleasure of going there myself, but maybe one day!
 
There is specialzed parking for bikes in the lot just north of the entrance off of Maglaughlin.

At Guelph on the campus map (@ www.parking.uoguelph.ca) it lists where there is parking for bikes.. There should be some type of map for Sheridan. There isn't a mall near there, is there? - That'd be your free solution... but you wouldn't want to leave your bike all day.

Yesterday I was told its 166/month just like a any other car.

Today I was told its free.:)yay

Thers free parking in lot 3 for motorcycles.
 
There's no FREE parking at Sheridan. It's specific motorcycle parking. But you still have to pay. During the day.

Thanks Low rider! It would suck if I will have to pay the same amount as car parking.. Couple of people above my post said that it was free though... guess things have changeed now
