Just wondering if these will keep me cool while moving in the summer, while offering the best protection. I think these are designed to be tucked into race boots. I only have half boots right now and imagine the spot above my ankles would be exposed while riding. Guess I'll upgrade to race boots.

Also, will I get laughed at for wearing a leather jacket and pants with race style boots, while riding a naked GS500e?

I wear the same ones without the velcro for knee sliders, riding a naked Triumph. I like them and wear them all the time regardless of temp. The suede on the inside of the knee helps grip the tank and there is some CE in the knee and padding on the hips.

Can't worry about what others think. If you like em and the look, then you will wear them. If you don't like the look, you will have $ 350 hanging in your closet.

Hello Modular, I cannot Vauch for these Pants but my Advice would be to find them locally and try them on before purchasing them online so you know they fit and look how you want...just a tip...from personal experience

Oxmach, any idea where I can purchase them without the velcro knee sliders? The pairs I've seen online at a few sellers have the velcro in the picture. Also, anyone know where I can bet them locally. I don't remember seeing them at Royal in Guelph last time I was there.

i have these. they're ok in hot weather, but i wouldn't say cool. as long as you're moving, they're fine.

I saw these at Royal last night and was not impressed with the quality. The leather didn't even seem of good quality. I've got a pair of pants available if you're interested (PM me if you're interested) but either way I wouldn't suggest those JR's. And with most leather pants, as long as you're moving you'll be cool enough.

MdoularGT, not too sure where to locate them in your area, but they are Blaster 10.0. Mine are a few years old now.
