Pretty sure what OP needs is a cylinder leak down tester, otherwise they would've asked for a compression tester.

I can find em for purchase (http://www.amazon.ca/OTC-5609-Cylin...id=1444864738&sr=8-1&keywords=leakdown+tester) but I hate buying stuff I'll likely use once every 10 years. I'd rather just borrow or rent.

Then again, at $100 and decent reviews, I should just shut the f up and buy it. If I do, whoever needs it after can borrow it
