I know of some good spots, but none that my 8 and 10 year old can go to and ride.
Does anyone know of any good karting places for us that arent extremely expensive?

That may be alright! A lil pricey though!

Unfortunately, I have not yet found a place that was not pricey. Once in a while though, these karting places will have a online group buy. I bought one for a track in Hamilton (can't remember the name off the top of my head).

GP Karts at the old Downsview base has internet specials all the time and their electric karts.

My kids and I did the arrive and drive series at Goodwood a few years ago and they really enjoyed it. It was then $50 per race and they did 10 or 12 races that season so it was really decent fun. The $50 included practice, qualifying and a race. They were 10 and 12 at the time. The needed to purchase a neck brace but I also got them chest protectors, helmets, etc. The 12 year old now is 16 and is already has his G1 so hopefully he remembers some of the car control and forgets some of the crazy stuff he did during his time there.
