anyone know of a good dirt biking place? Do they provide with bike and gear? i don't mind if it is an hour or 2 away from Toronto.

Burnt river and moto park both rent mx bikes and have proper mx tracks. Burnt river is the best track I have been to.

Ganaraska forest has over 300km of trail, I got every weekend. A bunch of us are going saturday and sunday, its $25 for a day pass, or $125 for a year pass, we park at boundary rd. Its right off the 35/115 hwy

for that price I'm assuming you have to take your own bike?

You can rent bikes through trailtours.ca. Its pretty expensive, I have never done it but some friends have, look up their website on google if your interested

Ohhh, I would consider this! I have 80 / 20 on/off road tires, would they be ok, whats the surface condition like? I would be riding there from Toronto on my KLR.

Sounds great!

You haven't been to too many tracks have you?
Can list off a bunch of places I would ride before I would ride there again. (talking about burnt river)
Motopark is great though.

I did tons of single track in Williams Tract on the KLR with Avon Gripsters (80/20 tires). It's fun to do once in a while, but you should go someplace with lots of long flowing trails of double track (hopefully with some elevation changes). The KLR shines in this type of environment, and there's plenty of it around Barrie.

Check out my youtube chan (http://youtube.com/behohippy), you can see the stuff we do around here.

Thanks for the info and nice vids! I googled Williams Tract and nothing came up, where is that? Barrie is a reasonable distance, what would be the best way to find these places?

Check the SCORRA or OFTR sites, lots of maps on em.
