And would be willing to rent it to me for a week in late September?
Wife and I are headed out to Gaspe in a few weeks. Renting a trailer in the Montreal area and continuing east for a 7 day tour whereever the whim takes us.
Tow vehicle isn't ideally setup for charging the battery on the trailer and we plan to boondock quite a lot. Anticipating the furnace will draw down the trailers battery quite a bit every night, not to mention lighting, water pump, etc.
Want a small inverter generator so that I'm not "that guy" with the obnoxious generator, regardless of where we're camping. Honda eu1000i or Yamaha equivalent would be ideal, but an eu2000i would work as well. Just need it to power a standalone battery charger that I can pump amps into the battery quickly and efficiently, then shut it down and be good for another day or so.
Have looked around at a bunch of rental options and they either don't have inverter models (only obnoxious loud non inverter models) or want half the cost of the generator for a 1 week rental...might as well buy something new and resell it on return at that point.
