Anyone here know a great repair shop in Brampton?

Hi,
I'm a newbie rider and just bought my first bike a month ago ('13 Kawi Nija 300). I was shocked to get a $200+ quote for the 1st oil change from my dealer Kahuna. Guess they don't call them stealerships for nothing! I would appreciate anyone's recommendation to a reputable service garage in the area. Thanks.

First service likely has other thing included as well. Personally, I would do it myself. The owners manual should have the list of things that must be done.

PM Frekeyguy, he may be able to help out if you don't want to/can't do it yourself.

Do it yourself.

If doing it yourself isn't an option, I can't say enough good things about brampton powersports. They're fantastic every time I deal with them.

Thank you all for the insight. I am in the process of buying a rear stand and tools to do some of the work myself. DIY can be very gratefying but there are certain things that require someone that know what they're doing. I wouldn't touch electrical with a 10ft pole!

I dont think there is anything electrical related for first service unless you count checking your lights if they are working lol.

Oil changes are so easy for what you pay at dealer you can buy everything necessary and still have money left over to go out for lunch and celebrate your first successful oil change.
Plus I like the fact I can get it done at 2am if I feel like it lol

ya I suggest PM frekeyguy if your not comfy with changing the oil, hes great and will quote a good price as well, or learn yourself its not hard youtube it or something

try Brampton Powersport

In my mind you've already gotten the three best answers: a) do it yourself for all the things that you're comfortable with, b) PM frekeyguy for things that you don't want to do yourself (he's really good at changing tires!) and c) Brampton Powersports for all your parts needs (they don't sell Kawis but if the part is in the catalog, they should be able to order it in, usually takes a couple of days).
