Looking for a steel drum to make a burn barrel.
Not interested in buying a new one just to trash it.
Already have a burn pit, but would like the barrel for windy days.

If you have one, let me know.

I don't have one but if the free market fails, a quick search says you can get one for 20$.

Try Some local industrial shops. I'm sure they have one sitting in the back that they can part with.

I have 2 fresh ones, they are at my office in Newmarket. They are clean, used for isopropyl alcohol.

Often have 36x40x32 steel mesh shipping bins and 48x40x35 wooden shipping crates.

Free to good home … or will trade for a Harley.

You're about an hour away, let me make sure one will fit in the Sportage and I'll happily come by and pick one up. Let me know if that works for you.

Sorry I missed you yesterday, glad the barrel works
I forgot to tell you there were a few shots left in those barrels. They contained 180 proof Chinese vodka, the neighbour business made hand sanitizer during the pandemic.

As a kid, maybe 5 decades ago we'd spent time at my cousins who all lived in the country. They got rid of burnable garabage in a "incinerater". I envisioned it as some kind of big furnace - nope just a rusty 45 gallon drum.

Thanks @Mad Mike for the barrel.
After a few holes drilled and top cut off, I'm burning!
Good on your for your burn barrel, if you ever build another this is a great design and weather poof always dry inside, cut out bottom and put in steel mesh and 2 exhaust holes at top of barrel and a door....patio stone keeps water from pooling on top of barrel and weights it down will last about 2 years of constant dry burning.
