Anyone familiar with Collingwood/Blue Mountain area?

Hey all,

Tomorrow I will be riding up to a friends cottage for the weekend in Collingwood right by Blue Mountain.

I hope to get out during the day for some riding, but I am not familiar with the area. Does anyone know of any nice routes or some twisties somewhere in the area?

Theres only one and it's the road that takes you up the back end of the mountain. 5 mins tops.
Enter Blue mountain road and where the round-about is you'll see the exit that takes up the hill....go there but be careful, we've run into cops on that road.
 
+1...that road is scary as hell in the winter time haha
 
On the way up, River Rd north of 89 & 10 is nice. Farther up take a detour through Rob Roy into Pretty River Vallry Prov Park, Grey Rd 31. Stop by the Village for over priced but tasty beaver tails. A nice scenic road, but not very twisty, is the Beaver Valley Rd, Grey Rd 13 from Thornbury to Euginia.

Word to the wise, Don't go riding on Scenic Caves road above the posted speed this weekend. People (and most likely police) will be out en force on that road enjoying the long weekend.
