Anyone else headed to one of their scheduled track sessions in the US?

Looking to finish up my final levels this year ...

Nope, but I'd like to take one this spring if it made sense. I suppose I should look into that for March...

The closest they come to us is either NJMP or VIR .. the rest are further southwest.

As for March, youd have to head to Willow springs.

I'll be coaching in July at The Ridge in Washington and hopefully hitting a few more schools on the West Coast as well. Let me know if you have any questions about the school :)

I did the school in 2009....was awesome!! i was actually looking for you there ( at Streets)...being a fellow Canadian....if i recall you were pregnant. I did 4 days....2 of the level 1 and 2 with Dylan ....then the code RACE. Was a great experience.

I want to return for a refresher....looking more for my racing needs....suggestions??

Sounds about right :) My son was born in May 2009.

You should go back for a refresher! So you did level 1 and 2 and then Code R.A.C.E. What you might want to do is take level 3 and 4. Even though it's not as race oriented as the actual race school, they cover a lot of things that are applicable to racing in level 3, body position, quick transitions on the bike, attack angle (how you approach turn points and how that affects your line.) etc. Level four is designed around your specific riding needs and you can always ask about how the skills you are working on would apply in racing.

I certainly attribute my success in racing at the AMA level with having a solid grasp of the basics that are taught at CSS. I literally used everything I know from the school to improve my racing and help me learn tracks quickly. Most of the techniques from the school easily apply to both street, track and racing.

I'll be at the Ridge in July :) ....

I love this school and try to do one day a year if possible. Few years ago I did level 1 at Sears Point Infinion (friend lives nearby) and after that Level 2 at Willow. Not bad going to California in March.
Since it had been a while I retook Level 2 last summer at Barber...fabulous track and museum!
Might not be able to make it this year but I would like to try VIR and the instructors recommended NJ... supposed to be a great learning track.

Nice. I did levels 1/2 at VIR last year, what an awesome track.

This year ive decided to go to NJMP and finish up levels 3/4.

I did my 4 days in March too. Watch out for sand on the track...which we're not used to here....and when the sun goes away...the track cools off really fast.

Hahahah, awesome story. That sounds just like Keith! It is a very personal school with a lot of attention on each student and their individual differences. Hope you make it out again :)

I did Level 2 back in 2008 at Mid Ohio. Really had a good time. The school was run right after an AMA weekend so we would go watch the races and then do the school. Mid Ohio is a great track and only about 6 hours away. (about the same as Bogie for me here in Niagara). Wish it was coming back to Mid Ohio. I'd like to do more levels.
