Found out one of the brackets that holds the radiator in place broke off. The bracket is intact, just sheared the rivets that held it in place. Anyone able to repair it?

Thanks

hmm, maybe a picture? you ask about the bracket. then state it is the rivet that is sheared.. do you want the bracket welded, or the rivet replaced?

Haven't taken it off yet so I'm not 100% sure how it mounts. Don't know if it's a rivet or just a locating pin and then spot welded.

It would be the one on the left in this pic

It's a spot weld (atleast it is on my bikes). Any place that can weld aluminum can fix it but where are you located.

Figured, any suggestions in the Thornhill/Richmond Hill area?

Try Z1 Cycletech - not sure if he has a TIG but if he doesn't, he should know someone who does.

There's a welder - Tony, next to Rosey Toes. He has a TIG rig and is reasonably priced.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Took the rad off, looks like a rivet in the middle and two locating pins, and some sort of metal epoxy? I'm sure a quick spot weld will hold it secure

Quick update, Z1 fixed it up in good time. Instead of welding it, they put in a couple of blind rivets.
