I love my sneakers, nothing crazy or collectables, never go over $300ish and always wear every single pair...

Just got these puppies: classic 80's ASICS, Made in Japan, premium leather and generally way better than those overhyped Jordans IMO.

Will work perfectly with my MT-09SP :)

Not really into sneakers, I like running shoes, I love asics as well, always work great for my feet

Love running shoes too, but those are for running... and those are dirty for the most part (thanks to many parks around) haha

Sneakers culture grew in to mainstream now, lot's of my "lifestyle" sneakers can worn with suit and tie nowadays - f***n love it, always hated boots and dress shoes....
 
I need to find some sneakers as I’m def not fashion forward at all. Costco FTW!

The missus family came up from the states a few years ago and their son about 13yrs old at the time wanted to go to some used sneaker convention downtown... The entire culture of it was alien to me and didnt interest me in the slightest, but hey each to their own.
 
Never got into sneakers because I don’t understand them and also don’t really wear them. Have spent a bit too much money on premium boots and dress shoes though (Allen Edmonds, 1000 Miles, Red Wings, etc)

What’s a ‘stylish’ sneaker nowadays? Is there even a definition?

Not to hijack your thread (even more than it already is), but it's worth getting motorcycle specific footwear. There was a study a while ago that said improper footwear was the biggest cause of injury that could have been avoided with the right gear. They're not nearly as slick as these, but AStars, Ixon, and a few other brands make biking shoes that look half decent.

As for sneaker heads, definitely not me. Closest I get is some retro-styled New Balance 574's. If I'm going to spend too much, it'll be on Italian leather. The reverend at our Anglican church in BC is a huge sneakerhead, and would wheel and deal online, buying and selling like it was the stock market. It was always interesting to see what he'd be rocking for the sermon on Sunday...

LoL I do have a good collection of riding footwear too- Sidi’s, Alps, Icon’s - for track, street and dirt - right tool for the job… These fashionable sneakers above would be used on my fashionable MT-09SP to get myself to NM and other posers meets :)

And BTW I beg to differ in regards to how slick “true” riding brands could be - there are some dope Icon and RevIT high riding boots with all the protection and looking pretty good. Or as in @Lightcycle picture BMW has some cool shoes too! You just can’t have it all.. at once :)
