Any roads up north one should avoid?

My brother and I are riding up to Sault St. Marie from Toronto this weekend. Wondering if there are any roads we should avoid due to construction, condition, popo presence...

Can't help you on specifics that far north, but I was up near Orillia and Minden the other day and noticed there was more gravel than normal on a lot of the roads, so keep an eye out..
