Any other bros who lift have trouble finding good fitting gear?

Everything is either too tight in the shoulders and chest or too loose in the waist.

Is it even possible to find a jacket that fits good if you're buff?

Also what's up with dainese jeans, they are way too tight around my thighs but the waist is too loose. Do they even make riding pants for a bro who squats?

Yes. However it depends on the manufacturer and your budget. We can order gear made for you - expensive. Or find a stocky-er european cut - cheaper, more time involved.

I have a similar issue with jackets. Wider shoulders and longer arms, generally means you are wearing a parachute through the mid-section. But not always. I have found certain cuts of Held gear that fit perfectly, and others of the same brand and size that don't fit at all. It's all about the cut. If you are hoping to find gear that performs well, looks good and fits well, it will not cost $150 for a jacket. Budget more. It is possible to have waterproof, breathable leather but the price for the jacket alone has a comma in it.

What are your requirements for gear? What level of weatherproofing? What kind of riding do you do? Touring gear is very different than sporty-touring, and adventure-touring. Is temperature fluctuation going to be an issue (ie. up and down mountains)? All these (and more) need to be addressed to outfit you properly, and we haven't even started measuring you yet.

Most rider's requirements are simple: good protection and visibility, enough weatherproofing to get out of the storm (but not worried about sustained riding), half-decent fit and not break the wallet. We have that gear too.

You lift, bro?
There's a place near me that does made to measure dress shirts for, iirc, $300 for 5.
As far as t's go, you should be able to find fitted ones. Unless you're huge.
Those are good problems to have. Try finding ~40 waist with a 26 leg ?

Is it possible to get a shell'd motorcycle jacket tailered? I've got a JR drytech M.S.S that's a 3XL, the arms and shoulders are fine but the rest of it is way too big.

Got any contact info? I like to buy quality shirts and the ones that fit me well are slim fit Hugo Boss, Armani, and Eton a Swiss brand. They're usually 150-300 just for one...I recently got a couple made to measure suits at Harry Rosen and they had a special for shirts starting at $185. These are Canadian tailored shirts using fabrics from Italian mills, having dropped 4 grand already on the suits I passed though. 5 for $300 is a hell of a deal.

I'll see if I can find out. Found it by accident a few years ago. I've never used it but checked it out. They were off rowntree dairy road behind Heroes comics. I may be a off a little on the price, but I remember thinking that when I'm payinh ~$80 for an off the rack shirt this was a great deal.

Scott jackets fit the way you want OP. Not sure your size but my kid's is for sale. $550 new will take offers ( one year old ). He lost so much weight it does't fit anymore.

Scott Distinct 2 ...4 season touring jacket. Very happy with mine. You have to try it as you cannot go by sizes these days.

I didn't realize people self-identified as a 'bro', I thought it was a derogatory term. Just wear an Icon Vest. If you've already got a jacket, rip the arms off.

I have a buddy who can barely use his arms they're so big :lmao:

what's the appeal again?

That's almost always just bodybuilders. I used to train in powerlifting, then olympic weightlifting before running into back/hip issues. Now I'm just a filthy casual at the gym.

The appeal for bodybuilders is almost always just vanity. A lot of times, it's narcissistic vanity. For powerlifters/weightlifters, it's more of the fun of lifting heavier weights and pushing your limits. I personally thought it was entertaining I could squat almost 2.5x my bodyweight, but I'm a weirdo so...

I have somewhat larger arms & shoulders, and have found that Alpinestars seems to fit me better than Teknic, Dainese, or any of the others.

Bro give us your measurements, height, weight, inseam, waist size, etc. Maybe we can help. Also post pics of how shredded you are bro.

That explains why they wear icon vests, their arms are too big for the jacket

I think "Shreddy Shredington" says enough. This bros ripped dude.

@LoneRonin spent some time googling. They were on Winges, looks like they moved to Whitmore. Name is Fifth Season. Checked their site, no mention of the deal. Called a few times through the day. No answer.
