Any MV f4 owners?

I got my r6 this season and love it but I feel I want a 1000. The f4 is by far the sexiest bike I have ever seen and I like the fact there are not a lot of them out there(compared to the big 4). They are definitly not cheap and I was just wondering how you are liking it. I have read some mixed reviews.

Dont think too many have been sold here yet. Chinto on GTAM is a salesman at Royal that is a dealer maybe he can give you some info. I know he rode them at Mosport.

Also PM Lightcycle...... he may have some info for you.

A friend has one, he told me it's the best bike he has ever ridden, full stop.
A bit of a biased opinion though, as he always wanted one in the first place :)

There was one a Famous Sams last Sunday.
Nice looking bike:

Hi Folks browsing the forum and what do I see my bike on here. Thanks for the picture posting it is a great bike always wanted one when I was living in California and now that they are available in Canada did not hesitate. Also looking forward to the new F4RR next year on 14 bikes are available in Canada.

Love the bike it is definitely not a beginner bike very smooth power curve compare to the older models. Service at Indian motorcycle has been great while I always wanted one I am not dissapointed with my purchase. Would recommend the bike if anyone is interested in purchasing. Being an italian bike it has one thing in common with the Ducati the mirrors are useless.

Yeah I've seen a few this year - they are out there ..., one dude had his out in Cambleville on Sunday. Definitely has the looks and sounds from the rear that's for sure. Appears to look a tad more comfortable then the Duc1198, I've been on that and loved it - you might want to consider that too ! Good luck...

Coming from an R6, any liter bike will blow your brains away so your question is largely pointless. If you like the look and the price, and the bike is comfortable to sit on, that's all that matters.

I would however be wary of dealer support. Personally I'd wait for next year to buy one, just to be sure.

So far dealer support has been great with service , but it is a valid concern my discussion with the dealer is that so far MV is support their orders. I am currently in California and visited the MV dealer where they have mentioned the lack of support from MV. Who know maybe Canada is getting better support. If you are interested I might be selling mine next year as I have a deposit on the F4RR.

probably hasn't been around long enough to have any problem

i personally like F3's look better, those exhaust look soooooo sweet

Could not agree more on both points. Who knows maybe the F4 will have a little brother F3 next year :).

Ya the f3 will be out 2012. its definitely a sweet looking bike but being a 675 it is a lot smaller. I ahve only seen one f4 this season and it was the same color as in the pics posted. I cant wait to see the black on flat black. It is really going to come down to budget depending on how that goes I might lean towards the 08 r1.

Hah, the mirrors on my Aprilia are actually useful.

the MV dealer at Isilington and & have a black on black MV F4 looked that one but looks like a gixxer. I chose the red and silver as that is the official MV colours and in my opinion it looks a lot better

Haha that's my friends bike !! I think he not so secretly misses his 2004 ZX-10 though... As for comfort.. the 1198 was horrible.. but the OLD MV F4 1078 or wahtever cc it was was even worse.. I sat on a couple (suede seats) at a 2008 Bike show in Zurich.. what a nightmare/torture rack.
