Any GoPro selfy tips?

I finally bought a GoPro camera and was hoping to take some selfies of myself cornering. My goal is to help with technique and figure out just how much I'm leaning the bike over.

Do you guys have any tips for what's the best place / height to place the GoPro camera? I'm talking about placing the camera on the ground/curb.

This is the kind of shot I'm looking for (From the R1-Forums):

Take a look at Marcel Irnie's videos on how to use a go Pro effectively.

the outer curb would give great visual of the whole turn and the inner curb would give the best view of you before/as you come through the apex but honestly, I think it should just be on the fairing so you can judge your perception of angle with reality.

Go the mirror and make pouty faces, and such.

Oh wait .. wrong selfies!

lol +1

OP take your GoPro to the track and use it there, and find someone taking photos and get some from them. You're just asking to cause yourself to crash or get caught by the cops doing something stupid. I have had a GoPro for about 3 years now and have never taken it anywhere but the track.

I guess if you never break 10kph over the limit and you just want a dash cam that's alright but personally my GoPro would lead to way more problems then helps I believe.
