I'm a big time golf nut.

Been playing for ~50 yrs

Got down to a 2 hdcp at one point, now a ~6

Last ball I hit was last Sept, dealing with a tumor in my L5 (spine) / spine damage ... causing walking problems never mind golf swings.

Playing St. Andrew's, just south of Newmarket on Thursday.
Work and family have gotten in the way of golf for the last 10 years.
Used to play every week or two, now maybe 3 rounds a year.

I have Arnold Palmer signature clubs. Don't play much since my wife's company stopped their annual tournament.

Played lots more before getting back into Motorcycles 18 years ago. Golf and motorcycles are direct competition for time as they are both played in the same season and take about the same amount of time and money to be all in.

Have played a bit more now with my sons and golfer friends since retirement but do not have the same level of interest.

I now play about once a week; however, you wouldn't know that looking at my scorecard. I began playing more often after I retired and got a part-time job at a golf/ski resort where I play for free. Still loose plenty of balls, but haven't bought one in over 10 years. Working at a course lets you know where the most balls are to be found:D.

My father never walked up the middle of the fairway. Always in or near the rough, usually on the right.

(Mike sees "loose" and hears sound of finger nails on chalk board).

The word is LOSE !!!

Ya, a "big" third world problem ... or my own crazy.

There are days when I get more fun looking for lost balls than actually playing the hole. Usually happens after I’ve shanked the drive.

Yeah, that's one I always misspell. I look at "lose" and think that can't be right and then change it.
At least I know the difference between there, their and they're.:D

He wouldn't have found any of my balls then. I'm a lefty with a slice so they all go to the other side of the fairway, or onto the next fairway.:ROFLMAO:

I'm a lefty

50 years ago you were an anomaly. From watching the tour and seeing people at the range daily the percentage has been making a swing over the years. Slow, but noticeable.
