Tired of scraping knockles filling tires. Is there a decent / accurate one out there that any of you recommend?

How about angled valve stem adapters?

My valve stems are angled.

Jaco are one of the best. You can get them from 0 to 15, 30, 60, and 100 psi. in 45 and 90 deg.

Great idea...but the reviews say they don't fit, made in China etc. Wondering if legit adaptors would be weighted enough to throw off the tire balance if they're made from proper materials.

There's different sizes depending on the hole in your wheel, typically 11.3 or 8.3 mm. This place has the good ones (same that come on Ducati 's), but not cheap at $30 USD each. They do also sell a fugly budget version for $11.

Or this shop has the Bikemaster versions for $31 a pair in North York. Don't know how good they are, though:

I always wondered - how do you know if your calibrator is calibrated?
I could send it out. I don't care that much as there is minimal liability associated with me using it. It is a high quality gauge in an engineered package kept in a temperature controlled environment. Is it perfectly accurate? I can't confirm without paying (which I'm not going to do). I have a calibration certificate from when it was manufactured. Do I trust it far more than tools that live in the garage and get banged around? You bet ya.
