Im in Chicago for the weekend and can't help and notice their prices for goods over here.

Beer $16 for a 24
Vodka $14 for a 26oz of Smirnoff
Plasti dip $6 a can (Canada $16)
Mobil 1 synthetic oil $6/lt (Canada $11)
Same price for drinks but have you seen their size large?

Some of their bike prices at DGY in Illinois.

2012 Honda cbr 600rr $10400
2012 Honda cbr 1000 $13500
2012 Yamaha r6 $10000

All with 5% tax

They only thing I can see justifying this is their minimum wage is $8, and also their materinaty leave is 3 months no pay.

I filled my tank for $6 yesterday outside Buffalo and $8 for the same amount in Canada.

well obviously liquor will be cheaper, we pay a **** load of tax on that. Everytime i go to Quebec it bugs me i can get a 24 of hieneken for 30 bucks and its like close to 50 here.

And no health care......kinda a big one if you don't have a good job. Not to mention huge national debt.

Talk about buying power.

I think just 5 years back the american population was tenfold of what we have in canada. Its like the costco of the americas lol

30 pack of rolling rock beer for $12.

Don't get me wrong I usually buy my stuff in Canada but when I visit relatives I can't help it.

It's sad out there no jobs at all. My uncle had to take a temp job at north Carolina for 2 months after 30+ years working sheet metal in Illinois.

I think the unemployment rate is only different by1%. Ontario is losing jobs, the only reason Canada is in better shape is because of the new jobs being added in Saskatchewan.

Here: 40 bucks for 3.5g of some quality kush
There: 70-80 bucks for the same amount...

and I like my weed a lot more than drinking.

The low price on most products is the reason we have been cross-border shop for over 30 years. We typically go for a two night stay once or twice a year. With the new rules that now allow $800.00 per person for a 48 hour stay we might want to go more often! I just wish the liquor allowance had been increased as well.

i know when i heard their prices for bud like 500 for an O i said damn!,and its not always the best weed either.
