Am I missing something?

Nice day today so I grabbed the bike and went for a bite to eat. I was sitting eating at the restaurant and had my helmet on the table. I guy walked in and gave me the fellow rider head nod. I happen to notice that he had Alpine Stars riding boots on, actually I have the same exact ones. It reaffirmed the head nod was from a fellow rider. I finished my lunch and we happen to finish at the same time. We walk out together, I head towards my bike and start putting my helmet on and I notice that he gets in his car. I look at this with confusion, if he had racing boots on, why is he getting into a car? Have I missed something? Are racing boots worn when not riding? I don't know, I thought it was weird.

Maybe breaking them in? I know that I'll be wearing mine whenever I can when I get a new pair as they hurt like mofo in the beginning. I hope he had the toe sliders off.

I came back from a ride, It was late at night and was starving... I took off my lid, jacket and gloves but got too lazy to take of my boots. Hopped in the truck went to pizza pizza grabbed a slice and left. Oh, and I had my toe sliders on.

Well due to a 15inch crack in my windshield, I drive with my helmet on just incase - and once it breaks and have no windshield, I'll continue driving until Octoberish - It's a cheesy 98 Ford Windstar so I dont care about the rain coming in, just the colder weather and snow.

LOL... that's a little extreme I think. I really hope you're joking.

Well many times I park the bike quick and hop in the car to go get something, I arrive in the store with my riding jacket and boots, it is perfectly normal.

He was obviously trying to start a bromance but you were too clueless to pick up the signals.

I've had to drop off my sister or pick up some food right after a ride a couple times. Drove in full leathers....Cop's reaction would be funny if I got pulled over.

Man, you need to be on top of these things. What kind of a rider are you? You probably stick out like sore thumb in the cool crowd...

 :p

Or Vice verse ;)

Was it just the boots? Thats not enough to be nodding imo. If he had other gear, maybe he just did his m1 exit or something

Cagers need to get laid too. Bitches dig power rangers.

Ah crud. This means if I get a blue suit (to match my bike), I will be Billy??
*starts looking at red, green or white bikes*

I rode my bicycle once with full leathers, helmet and all. You get funny looks, and sweat a lot.

I do go out quite often in my boots since I only own a motorcycle. So when I go down to N3WMANs place and we hop in his car, all I have is my bike boots. They're not the best shoes to wear in a movie theater.

fixed

You don't keep spare shoes in his car?? :p

I'd be more worried about the stuff that goes along with the boots, like shirt, bra, panties, skirt/pants... Unless you're going to a nudist theatre, that is
