One of the little things i like to tinker will is how much useful stuff i can fit into an Altoids can. I have a few different ones with different stuff in. Ones for camping that are basically flash light and wet fire start and some other useful things as a backup. I also have Car one with some fuses...some drugs bandaids etc. Generally little comfort items or useful things to have. This is a little one with tools I find have their uses day-today without having to carry allot of bulk the only other thing I add to this in my work bag is a lighter a bit of para-cord and a multi tool.

So next step is to put one together for the bike.

The three items i would consider essential in the bike one would be the flashlight, Compass and Knife Im looking for suggestions on what you guys would want to add into the kit you only have this to work with.

3-13/16" (9.68 cm) long

3/4" (1.91 cm) deep
 
Tire plug kit.
 
Screwdriver / Allen key for your bike. Spare fuses.
 
5X $20 bills
 
I remember a cluch cable snapped on me... I fixed it with a wire connector, to get home.
I fed it throug the broken top of cable and bent it in half, so it wouldn't slip out

Zip ties are great you feel them around the outside of the tin the take up zero space.. do you have a particular screw driver in mine. i have trouble finding a useful one small enough to fit in a tin.

Yes. Where it rubs against the adjuster sometimes. In certain cases, you need pliers to cut skinn off the cable to expose more, but works like a charm. Had both scenarios on both sides of cable. Always saved my skin.
 
What about some change for a pay phone? Yes, I'm showing my age. Now get off my lawn.

what is a pay phone? Well change is a good idea i would probably tape 2x loonies 1x toonie and a fed quarters on the under side of the tin.
