I have an 07 ZX6 with original battery and alternator.
I put Oxford grip warmers on the bike last fall hooked direct to the battery, and the low battery shut off does not work. As a result, I have killed the battery here and there.
Lately, my bike won't start very much. I put a battery tender on it, and its been fine for a few weeks, but now I am back having to emergency bump start it. I don't know if its the battery or alternator though.
Any smart ideas how to test? I think the battery could be replaced regardless, but if its fine, why replace it? Thoughts?
