Almost hit - To grey R6 near Dundas st w / Lansdowne ave.

I was going west on Dundas st. and I can see a grey R6 waiting to turn on Dundas St. East (he was coming out of a small street near Lansdowne Ave. I think it was Campbell Ave.). The rider was only looking towards traffic going east, not even bothering about traffic going west bound. And then as soon as he found a small gap in the traffic going east, he guns it. I almost missed him by an inch.

Comon dude you gotta look both ways before you make a turn. What if someone was passing me and hit you?!?!

yea i was driving. well for me i was in a car so i wouldn't have suffered that much. The rider would have.
 
So if you almost missed him by an inch, does that mean you did hit him, missed him by a foot? Just kidding, glad there was no collision.

You should have blasted your horn to wake him up... remind him of the west bound traffic. Scare the crap out of him so he wont 'forget' a second time. Next time maybe he wont be so lucky?
 
My new apartment is a couple blocks away. I can vouch for the density of stupid in this area. It adds an ounce of danger and five ounces of funny to my daily rides.

Mostly, living in this area has made me realise that Darwin was wrong. The stupid are here to stay. These people are retarded, and breeding.
 
did he just manage to eek out of the way ? or did you have to hit the brakes?

I bet in my car I could stop, I bet in my truck ? it would have been a collision ... no way i can stop a 5k lbs truck that fast...
