Almost back on Two wheels. Bike Purchased M test booked

Things are slowly coming together and I will soon be back on two wheels although it looks like being after the long weekend as I dont think the funds will have cleared in time.

Knowledge test complete Tuesday
M2 Exit booked with Durham college for the 14th September
GSX650F purchased.
Insurance arranged.

So as soon as the funds clear then I can get the bike


Interested to hear from anyone who has aquired the licence the same way as I have when coming to Canada from another country?

Prior experience recorded by MTO. Pass knowledge test and then take M test.

Probably don't need to do the safety course but figured it makes sense to be on safe side instead of making some stupid mistakes such as any bad habits I've picked up over the years.

how long were you riding in your previous locale?

Where have you come from?

So if you need to do the tests to satisfy the MTO that you can ride, does your insurance give you any prior credit toward your rates?

I have been riding since early 2007 in the UK. Apparently Jevco does give some credit but I need to obtain letters from my previous insurers at home.
I've got some time though as with the way TD write their policies it costs me $254 to insure from now through to end of Jan 13.

Bike picked up this morning and I love it! Now to get out and enjoy some more of this gorgeous afternoon.
