I was finding the seat on my Moto Guzzi V7 a bit hard on multiple day rides especially if wearing jeans.
The V7 has had the handle bars moved up 1" and back 3/4" so handling is not as crisp as stock.
Because of this I move a lot on the seat to shift body weight to compensate in corners.
I tested the AirHawk dual sport seat on my 4 day 1400km trip to Park Maurice in Quebec.
Regardless of the inflation in the bladder it was constantly moving forward and back under me.
The seat itself was stationary but the bladder kept changing shape. and that causes the center of gravity to shift.
Maybe it's just my bony ass!
I can see it maybe working on a cruiser bike but it does not work for my riding style.
The solution I am contemplating is to throw the bladder away and stuff the shell with medium dense foam.
I have modified & built seats using a 2 part upolstry foam that you pour into a mold.
Memory foam takes too long to recover its natural shape.
The other option is to put on a hundred pounds so I have better natural padding.
Of course then I would have to grow a scraggly beard and buy a Harley.

I've been dealing with the same issue on my AT, One member here suggested that i by a pair of bicycle shorts that's already padded and wear under my pants

I looked at the bicycle shorts but they are made for a seat with a very narrow front.
Besides I dont want to have to shave my legs!

Are there any comfort seats available for your bike?
Russel Day long
Sargent
Saddlemen
Corbin
Seth Laam seats.

You have it over inflated. The fact it feels like you're moving or are sitting on a baloon is common when overinflated.

A properly inflated airhawk basically looks flat. There should only be about a 1/2 to 1cm difference in height when you're sitting on it - it's not about being a balloon, it's about equally distributing your weight, and you need very, very little air to do that.

Corbins are like sitting on a cinder block IMHO. Russel Daylongs are custom made to the individual rider, so one persons used one isn't necessarilly going to be comfortable for another person, but yeah, if you can swing the cost of a new one, they're well regarded.

I agree about Corbin. I also found my last on to be too hard.

I have heard good things about Seth Laam. Not as good as RDL but almost as good.
They are slightly cheaper and not as wide in design.

I currently have an AirHawk on my DL1050 but would like something that is pure comfort and eliminate the tail bone pain after sitting for a while.

I have rolled up the bladder with the valve open and then closed the valve before unrolling.
I still feel the minute amaount of air moving between cells as I shift my weight.
The seat cover is more comfortable without the bladder in it.
It is definitely not a over inflation problem.
I could use an inch higher seat so I think the adding foam instead of the bladder will do what I want it to feel like.
After a few atempts I was able to sort out the seating on my Suzuki GW250 to allow for 500km+ rides.
Custom built seats are stupid expensive and I don't ride flat straight roads so I need a seat I can move around on.

With an airhawk, most of your butt should be on the seat. It's incredible how small the amount of air you need is.

Its hard to keep your but in the middle of the seat when you are trying to drag a knee.

Have you tried removing the seat all together?

I have removed the AirHawk and as long as I am riding with my cold weather riding pants it is fine.
They do have padding built into them but are too hot above 20 degrees.

Sargent appears to have a sale on now.

MotoSkivees are designed for motorcycle riding - 3 variations. I have the ADV version.

I also found some bicycle shorts work nearly as well for less money but then a 400 km ride day is a long one for me these days.
I have Airhawk as well

Ultimate comfort is a RDL seat with a backrest for a solo rider allowed me 1,000 km days despite my sciatica but $$.

Have had good results with Sargent.

If I wanted a tractor seat on my bike I would buy this on sale for $119.99

Some people find AirHawks comfortable, some don't.
Some people find sheepskin covers do the job, some don't.

I've got both lol. I don't know what kind of sorcery there is is with sheepskins that they're cool in the summer and warm in the winter, but yeah....some kind of sorcery.

I don't understand that either.

Slap a sheepskin on that puppy, and honestly, that looks comfy as **** lol. Us iron butt guys have been known to do stupid stuff in the name of comfort ya know. ;)

I have done 1600km days in my car without a sore butt.
Maybe I should just sell the bike even if the car does not corner that well.
