They should make one converted into a luxury jet.. Now that would be ballin. Pimp it out like a mansion.

Pretty sure I saw one of those years ago at an air show...when it started its engines it blew a wooden farm gate clean off it's posts at the end of the runway.

I have never seen Mriya in real life, but saw Ruslan (AN-124). When we were driving by pretty far on hwy (101) and that thing started its engines, it was blowing tons of crap over the highway.

That thing is hideous

If a plane manages to take out a fence and still land safely then that's one sturdy plane... I highly doubt a 747 can land with a compromised landing gear

You'd be surprised. 747 has 4 sets of main landing gear, and guess what? All that landing gear is needed for taxiing and take off, not landing. A fully loaded 747 carries 110 tons of fuel, in fact, Korean Air cargo plane flying to Anchorage carries more weight in fuel onboard then cargo. When landing, the aircraft has probably only 10 tons of fuel left, enough for another hour in the air plus a lil extra every pilot likes to have.
