aftermarket helmet hook?

Hey guys, hoping you could help me out once again. My 88' FZR 250 doesn't have a very good helmet hook (or whatever you call it). I can't ride with a second helmet attached without getting it scratched or worse. Is there any professional mods out there that I can attach to add a better helmet hook?

If you're using a helmet lock to carry a helmet when travelling, then you're pretty much always going to bash the crap out of it. Consider using a bungee net instead.

haha, i dont know if you read the description for the link, but at the bottom it says:

im thinking of drilling a whole in my fairings so i can put some sort of small mechanism. the whole would be in my tail fairing, just under the edge of the seat, the a 90 degree bend into the peice to ensure you cant lift the seat and steal the helmet. will drilling a whole crack my fairings or worse?

plastic flarings are not made to hold weight....a helmet will move around and vibrate causing your flaring to crack / break. Mount it to something structural...
