after requesting to meet with a prosecutor, when do i receive appointment date?

its been a couple of weeks after handing in my ticket and requesting to meet with a prosecutor

when should i expect to know the appointment date?

expect it in the next couple of weeks, some jurisdictions take several months

More importantly, did you hand in your ticket to set a trial date, or did you simply ask to speak to a prosecutor - there is a big difference.

Attend or visit the court house to clarify what you did if you do not know.

hand in a ticket, marked 'speak to prosecutor'.. i assume that if things dont work out with prosecutor i will then have to set a trial date

And you do know that you have a time limit to file for said trial date right?!?!

Please, read the stickies in the forum, and do as I instructed and contact the court to check the status of your charge (have your copy of the ticket handy when you call) and fer gods sake SEEK REPRESENTATION. A traffic court lawyer or paralegal would have done all of this stuff for you already.
