Additional insurance for FAST school...should I buy it?

So I'm going for my Level 1 course at FAST this Tuesday and was considering purchasing the lower insurance deductible option that they offer. It's additional $130 or so to bring the deductible down from $2000 to $199 in case of a crash.

For those that took the course, did you purchase this option? What are your thoughts? This is my 2nd season of riding.

Also, I've never been to a track before. Do they have microwaves for us to use at Shannonville? Was hoping to warm up my lunch.

Thanks.

I bought the extra insurance, mind you a bud write off a brand new r6 in the previous weeks class. So I was a bit paranoid.

Can you afford 330? How about 2 grand?

Broken wrist, not bad.

He was real glad he bought the additional insurance.

Looks like we're in the same class OP! I bought the extra insurance so I can put it out of my mind and focus completely on the lessons. I didn't even think about lunch... I'd better pack something
I'm debating whether I should stay the night in Belleville or leave from Toronto before 6am... I'm thinking the former is the smarter choice.

Sweet! I'll see you there. Can't wait.

I thought about renting a room in Belleville too so I dont have wake up at 5am. But my buddy I'm going with shot that idea down :(

No microwave = sandwich lunch or buying a lunch

Yup will see you there. Looks like I might be driving up in the morning as well. I just went to get my plate stickers renewed on the bike/cage and it's costing me in total about $500 due to parking tickets :(
Think I'll order pizza for dinner and take leftovers for lunch.

OUCH!
Buy an extra large one so you can bring some for me too jkjk lol

So...not to sound like mom but water and fruit is a really good idea if it's hot. Pack a big cooler of fluids.

Quick and ready for in between sessions. Good little sugar boosts

Better make him drive then.

Also unless things have changed in the last few years, the only place where you will be able to buy lunch will be at the track itself ... if it were me, I'd bring lunch. (And I'm a lazy SOB when it comes to food)
