a possible future to the Forks

The Forks have been used for motorcycle racing in the distant past ... ! ! !

Maybe if they are the cheap "cag" style, they say 49cc on them but they're only 27cc.
There are true 50CC water cooled pocket bikes, and they rip along pretty good!

Years ago, we used to have meets in parking lots and would ride all night, nobody bothered us... I can't remember what forum I was on at the time, but we used to get together... It might have even been this forum... Would have been around 2005 or so.

Lol. i won one at the cne couple yrs ago. damn carb must have been gunk up as it only worked with choke full on.
im 230lbs and was able to get her up to 40kph on the straights. lol
then the damn pull cord broke and been sitting in my shed for a year.
hmm..maybe i should pull her out, clean the carbs, and replace the cord.
their fun as hell. my friends all get a laugh as im 6'1" so i look ridiculous on it.
lol

I used to have one with a 85km/h top speed (radar measured), ~15 hp 50cc mini moto. Accelerated faster than my CBR125! Some of those things fly

My bud has 2 in his shed just broken up, I should ask him if I can fix them by mixing up parts

If theses were YSR 50s or 80s I'd be all over them. But sadly, they're not. Plus anything that small is a pain in my bad knees, considering I'm 6'4"...

I just found this...

http://oppdchief.blogspot.com/2012/04/get-your-motor-running.html

pretty recent too.. all you need is light, indicators and the normal basic stuff..

Ummm ... not quite.

You also need insurance (which can only happen for a vehicle that the insurance company recognizes - no pocket bike fits this category), and a valid license plate tied to a VIN (which no pocket bike has) and the vehicle registration document (which requires a VIN that no pocket bike has, and which can only be issued for a vehicle whose original manufacturer has declared that it meets all applicable Canadian motor vehicle standards, which isn't the case for any pocket bike or any motorcycle that wasn't originally designed and certified for on-highway usage).
