A helmet fit question.

Hi all,

I bought an Icon Alliance helmet as my first helmet. Tried it on at the store several times on separate occasions before purchasing to make sure it was the one. This past weekend I did my M1 exit course and after 2 hours, or so of wearing it, started feeling a pressure point above my ear on one side only. Is there anything that I can do to the helmet to alleviate this problem? i can't see myself using this helmet too often with this problem.

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

A bad/small fit will have a pressure area on the very top of your head (back of the head or forehead area)... never heard of something on "one ear and not he other".

Try removing the pads and re-installing or making sure all the tabs are in place. Icon likes to use "push tabs" that click into place rather than the common velcro/folding slits. If they aren't "clicked in" properly you might get jabbed by it.

Thanks Mr.Azim, i'll check it when I get home. When i looked at it during the course, it seemed to be the hard foam in the helmet, that which provides the protection.

Like I said, i'll take a closer look when i get home.
