I hear ya his dopey face just kept popping up up from YT's algorithm for some time so out of character from everything else that i was seeing and curiosity finally got to me.
Did some looking and lost even more faith for the human race.
 
The guy is making other content creators some serious bank.
The sheer number of screw him clips is astounding and they are getting good number of views.
The telling point is if you type in mr beast is a fraud when you get to fr the site fills in freud giving one the idea of the spelling skills of the average person searching this topic.

Sometimes I wish I knew how to separate suckers from their money...but alas this stupid conscience of mine gets in the way.
